Port operations are massive but very sensitive operations, and equipment need to have the spare parts available at the time of maintenance, being preventive or corrective.

We have been technical advisor on Supply Chain and inventory management in a project having the objective of optimising the spare part management and improve availability of parts in the inventory, reducing down time for each equipment. We have studied and designed an improved system involving several component of Supply Chain, from catalogue review and clean up, vendor management, procurement planning and criticality of parts as well as inventory management review.
